Cargo quantity inspection using port scale usually applies to bulk or packaged cargo. With port scale, there must be two times of weigh, the first time is to weigh the mass of unloaded vehicle and the second time is to weigh the loaded vehicle, then calculate the actual weight of cargo. With this type of inspection , it is especially important to ensure that the mass of vehicle between the two time weighings is the least changed so as not to affect the weight.
