P&I Survey
P&I survey is conducted to investigate the cause and determine the extent of loss of the ship, people and cargo carried on board as designated by the Association of P&I, Insurer, Shipowner, ... thereby determine the liability of the Shipowner, the Operator in the event of loss or damage arising to the third party.
At the site, PESI surveyors will take photos of the vessel, collecting relevant documents. On completion of site survey, surveyors will make a report on the condition of the vessel in order to establish a fair market price and replacement value.
