Lashing, stowage & securing survey

This type of survey is to assess whether the cargo are properly loaded and tied up, thereby determining whether they are capable of sailing. In other words, it is to assess whether the loading, dunnage and lashing are to ensure the safety of cargo in the normal shipment from the loading port to the discharge port.

Cargo that need to be inspected for lashing are normally equipment, machinery, containers ... transported by sea.

Before the lashing process, PESI surveyor will record the condition of the container, lashing equipment and equipment to lift the cargo. During the lashing process, PESI will take photographs and check if the size of cargo is larger than the container; take photographs of dunnage materials, lashing process and removable parts. On completion of inspection process, PESI will issue the survey certificate, meeting the time requirements of customers.
